This week has been surreal. It seemed like just yesterday I landed on the island and now I have already seen two groups (from Brantley and Montgomery) come and go. God did great things through both of the groups. It was amazing to see the interactions between the Americans and Dominicans and even the Montgomery-ans and Brantley-ans. There was a true sense of family this week. The hands and feet of Jesus were truly on display from all of the work done. We saw a house go from standing half it's potential height to building it up to its fruition. VBSs drew in kids from Margara who might have never encountered the Word of God before and each morning we returned they were asking for more! It's been amazing so far and there are still three to go. God is so good and He continues to truce amongst the people both from the US and DR. please pray for safe travels for the teams as the land in just a couple of hours and drive on home! Also, keep the Mission Emanuel staff in your prayers so that we may continue to follow the LORD's plan for us! Thanks!
